The 2020 AIS Virtual Gala was featured in “The Story Here in NY” in the New York Social Diary. The story notes that now, more than ever before, AIS’ work has become critical as many clients who stutter have reported feelings of isolation and concern about the lack of social interaction that has resulted from the pandemic. AIS has continued to provide a supportive sense of community during these very difficult times.

AIS’s 14th Annual Gala: A Smashing, Online Success

On July 9, 2020, AIS held its 14th Annual Gala. Famed actress Emily Blunt hosted a conversation with Vice President Joe Biden and honoree John Hendrickson. Arthur Blank and Carl Page also discussed the impact that stuttering had on their lives. This exciting and impactful event raised awareness and raised funds for AIS’s scholarship program.
