The American Institute for Stuttering provides specialized therapy for people who stutter throughout the greater Atlanta area and throughout Georgia. Led by one of fewer than 170 ASHA-Board certified specialists in stuttering, we serve people who stutter of all ages from pre-school to school-age children, to teens and adults.
We offer in-person therapy as well as online sessions via Zoom. Our office in Little Five Points is conveniently accessible from Candler Park, Inman Park, Grant Park, Decatur, Midtown, Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Roswell, and beyond. For many years, in order to reach people wherever they may live or work, we have made our services available online.
Our warm and experienced speech therapists provide comprehensive assessment and treatment. We develop individualized therapy plans that enhance overall language skills. We incorporate other speech and language therapy goals as necessary. Our aim is to help people who stutter to speak freely and live more fearlessly. We also work to provide top-quality services to those who otherwise would not have access to this therapy due to financial constraints. To this end, we offer scholarships and financial aid.
