Join American Institute for Stuttering on Sunday, October 22, in observing International Stuttering Awareness Day with a special outing to the 3rd St. Promenade in Santa Monica.
We’ll be setting up a table on the Third Street Promenade, with the intention of engaging passers by with fun facts and common misperceptions about stuttering. We’ll have post cards about “Listener Etiquette,” FAQs, and other info intended to raise awareness of speech diversity. And of course, we’re inviting all of our friends who stutter to join us in a show of solidarity.
Those who participate will be invited to the Santa Monica office of American Institute for Stuttering for a reception afterwards.
WHEN: Sunday, October 22 12 - 2 p.m.
