If you stutter and are somewhere on the road to becoming a lawyer - from early dreams to early career - this workshop is for you! Join four successful legal professionals who stutter as they share their stories of stuttering in the law. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and learn from the outstanding professionals who will be joining us.

Meet the panel:

Moderator Christopher Schuyler is a Managing Attorney with the Disability Justice Program. His work focuses on equal access to programs and services, including transportation, medical care, and education. Earlier in his career, Christopher practiced under the False Claims Act representing whistleblowers within the context of Medicare/Medicaid fraud.

Kenyatta Bolden serves as Associate General Counsel at The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to joining Penn Mutual, Kenyatta's positions have included Chief Compliance Officer of the Individual Life Insurance and Enabling Solutions departments within Prudential, and lead product development attorney for Voya Financial (formerly ING US). He is a member of the AIS board of directors.

Julie Henson is the Chief Growth Officer at Decipher Investigative Intelligence, where she empowers law firms to make strategic growth decisions—whether through lateral hiring, exploring new markets, or pursuing M&A opportunities. Julie is a 20-year veteran of the legal industry previously serving as Chief Client Officer for an AmLaw 100 firm. She is the Vice-Chair of the AIS board of directors.

Chaim Lapp is an Associate in the Litigation Department of Debevoise & Plimpton, where he works on commercial litigation and antitrust matters. Prior to becoming an attorney, Chaim worked as an occupational therapist in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting to assist elderly patients and individuals recovering from a variety of illnesses, surgeries, or injuries to regain independence in daily activities.
