Katherine Preston interviewed about ‘Out With It’ on NBC’s Today Show

Katherine Preston, Today Show

This morning, we were excited to watch the Today Show, as Katherine Preston was interviewed by Jamie Gangel about her new book Out With It. For those of you familiar with the AIS Blog or the National Stuttering Association, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Katherine before. Katherine met with our founder, Catherine Montgomery, years ago as she was doing research for her book, and we published a blog post about the release of Out With It in March. More recently, just last week Katherine was one of the keynote speakers at the National Stuttering Association annual conference.

One of our favorite quotes from today’s interview came when Jamie asked Katherine about her hopes for the book. Katherine answered, “I’d Really like everyone to be aware that we all have a voice, we all have a right to be heard, and that we are all perfectly imperfect.” Beautifully said, Katherine.
