Training for Professionals and Students

If you’re a licensed speech-language pathologist or a graduate student, AIS offers advanced specialty training.

Jeremiah
1 out of every 100 people stutter. The world’s population just surpassed 7.3 billion. Which means there are approximately 7.3 million people who stutter across the globe. While we can’t help them all directly, we offer specialized clinical training that helps other speech-language therapists learn current, effective therapy techniques

“The AIS intensive program is not strictly a ‘stuttering treatment’ protocol. It is a life altering experience, focusing much on human nature and the human aspect of life itself. While part of the focus is on fluency training, much time is spent analyzing expectations, attitudes, beliefs, and assumptions. It is remarkable that this training teaches the clinicians just as much as it teaches the clients. It is a program that fosters personal development, emotional growth, and maturity. I have gained so much, on both a professional and personal level.”

AIS offers separate one-week immersion therapy programs for teens and adults. We accept students in speech-language pathology graduate programs to serve as interns for these programs.
