		<description>Hi,

It was very nice to hear Emily Blunt talk about her stuttering and particularly her talking about how she overcame her stuttering.

With respect to a strong genetic proponent to stuttering, I don&#039;t believe that it has reached the stage where it has been proven, I think it has reached the stage where they are starting to propose this as a possibility.

I found it very interesting that Emily indicated that she overcame her stuttering by appearing in a play using a different voice and being successful. Actually due to this success it shows that if there is a genetic proponent it doesn&#039;t carry much weight, right??!!

Anyway it was even more interesting how Emily alluded to the fact that the real her was struggling to come out. I think that that hits the nail on the head, in that a strong component to stuttering is not being yourself and still trying to talk as if you are, that would make anyone stutter!

Too bad she didn&#039;t expound more on &quot;not being herself&quot; and how she became herself, that information would be very helpful to people who stutter. Perhaps she explained this elsewhere.

Isn&#039;t it interesting, however, how she is in a profession where she plays other people?

Thanks for letting me post
