I'm a stutter for all my life I can remenber. I've never been able to complete college for my fear of not being able to speak publicly .... but in spite this, I've always done exceptionally on my jobs .... which brings me to where I am know. I recently became supervisor of my department which puts me in the lead position of 7 employees at age 50. I offer you much encouragement towards your completion of your nursing program. I hope that you will find success much sooner than I have. Don't allow your stutter to hold you back as I did. I could have done so mu sooner, had I faced my fears. Good luck, and I will follow your progress.

That's great! It's good that you pointed this out as well because others are likely having the same problem. Thanks!

Well, your hmmm made me realize how much of a tech coward I really am. I upgraded to IE8 and suddenly all is right with the world. The screen is white, and I can read with ease all the comments. Thanks for being so patient! Now, if we could just get the world to be patient with stutterers when we speak, oh boy . . .

Hey there,

As I am reading this, the screen color is brown, and the text color is brown. It is very hard to read. I wonder if you changed the background color, would it be easier to read, thats all. I am straining to read it.

I am interested in learning a little more about AIS. I am going to stay tuned here. I did some fluency shaping for a while (recently) but it did not really help me out. I think I am/was too resistant to focus on targeted techniques.

I think Roisin is a great young lady for being brave enough to make her experience with AIS public. I will follow this with interest.

Suggestion: it is hard to read the print text on this brown background. Could you lighten either the text or the background?
